To my surprise they were all for it and readily agreed. I remember them arriving in their trade mark school bus and I helped them put up their tomato can lighting. What a great concert.

What I remember most was that we did not get out the size of crowd we were hoping for and consequently the take from ticket sales was less than we projected, which was also less than what we agreed to pay PCC. However the PCC guys were great, we sat down on the stage after the concert a negotiated a fair split of the money raise which was we take enough to cover the expenses and PCC gets the rest, even though it was less than originally promised and they did this all with a smile and a most friendly disposition.

I also found a copy of the Rumour II album at

http://inzane.podomatic.com/entry/eg/2007-12-06T08_10_01-08_00Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2548293404844387175.post-74023774349487001922008-06-04T15:51:00.000-04:002008-06-04T15:51:00.000-04:00Thanks for the comment. Actually I grow up in Stratford, Ontario, but long enough past the prime of PCC to have never heard of them due to the 'local' connection!Marsden Planethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07366491367026913388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2548293404844387175.post-59361547171967848712008-06-04T11:37:00.000-04:002008-06-04T11:37:00.000-04:00I wanted to say thanks for the Download...PCC was ...I wanted to say thanks for the Download...
PCC was a favorite of mine growing up and I have had a lot of difficulty locating the album.
It is so great to revisit their wonderful music.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2548293404844387175.post-16793398964894137512008-04-20T11:57:00.000-04:002008-04-20T11:57:00.000-04:00Thanks for the comments & memories. A long-haired hippie-type dude was handing out leaflets as we filed into the theatre, so a bunch of the more impressionable of us snuck out of Merchant of Venice to go seem them at The Black Swan. They called themselves a "collective", which we thought was ultra cool at the time. I seem to recall PCP's Live album is also wonderful; heard it all the time on CHUM-FM at ridiculous hours of the morning when my parents thought I was asleep. Sadly, it's also not readily available on CD, so if the urge strikes, please post it sometime if you can.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
