Well, it's been a fair while since I've featured any songs on here, so here's one from Thursday Night's show - hope to get back to this a bit more in the future:

This blog is intended to be a little contribution to the Marsbar Theatre experience. For those who arrive here but may not know what the Marsbar Theatre is, here's a short primer. It's an amazing radio show featuring the one and only David Marsden that can be heard each Saturday and Sunday night from 7-12pm on 94.9 The Rock from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada (near Toronto) or on the web at: http://www.therock.fm/.

David has been inducted into the Rock 'N' Roll hall of fame in the radio category for his contributions to radio. He brings his vast knowledge of music from the past 40 or so years to his shows in a free-form format with no compromises. His show can cover anything and everything from the 50's to yesterday's new releases all with an engaging personality and great sense of humour. Many will remember him most for being the driving force behind the Toronto radio station CFNY 102.1 from the late 70's to late 80's - for more on that, see the website dedicated to that period in the station's history at: http://www.spiritofradio.ca/. Also, David has his own website which is located at: http://www.marsdenglobal.com/.

This blog will attempt to document the great music that David plays on his shows, add links to some of the classic tracks that get played that are currently out of print and hard to find as well as links to where you can find some of the more recent music he plays. It will also include anything else that might come to mind that might be of interest.

Due to the huge breadth of David's playlist, even after being dedicated listeners for many years, we can only do our best to identify as many of the tracks he plays as we can, so we welcome the assistance of other listeners that can help out with tracks that can't be identified.

Here's hoping that some of you will enjoy the posts.
