Excellent tribute to Martin.

I was only able to hear a portion of the show. Are they archived somewhere on The Rock's website? Or anywhere else for that matter?

Thanks in advance,

-Jason Paris

I would also love to know if there's an audio download or a podcast somewhere out there of the show.
Truly an amazing tribute to Martin Streek.

Thanks for putting it in order of play from last night. Martin knew something about putting together a set list. So sad, so angry.

Thanks all for the comments. It really was a great tribute. I don't beleive that there is anything on therock's website that is a download or podcast of the station.

However, there are definitely fans that very likely recorded the show. Perhaps we might find a way to get a link to a recording of the show. The only issue will be size - 5 hours of audio creates a pretty big file! I'll post here if I can arrange something - I was not able to record the show myself.

I'll be glad to host a recording (or portions thereof) on my media fire site.

Thank you for the kind words, RalphD. I seriously doubt I could have found the words to describe a show that absolutely blew me away. I would somehow love to hear the final two hours.

David outdid himself - his love and admiration for Martin Streek was clearly evident. I'm sorry I never got to know the man during his life - being in SoFla prevented that. But I have a clear sense of who this man was by David's tribute. Absolutely astounding.

Missy- I think you found some pretty good words in your comments above!

I hope we will be able to find a way to share David's tribute with those who would like to hear it again and those that weren't able to tune in live.

I recorded the show but the quality isn't great.. it's better than nothing though. Sadly I have no way of hosting it, and would need permission to do so anyway.

A great night on a sad occasion... it's been rough, having grown up with that Voice

Oh, raveandroll maybe we could host my not so great files... hopefully a better copy will be put up for people though

Jason - I'd be glad to - shoot me an email when you have a chance and we'll work something out. RalphD - thank you for the kind words. *Hugs* to you both. MissP xo

Good news - David has made available files that are excerpts of the tribute show that he did. They are available on www.therock.fm - look for the Martin Streek picture and the 'listen now' link.

Also see the announcements related to that on the community posting board at: www.marsdenglobal.com

Enjoy!

A bit late in posting, but the link is available on David's website, http://marsdenglobal.com on the right side. There are five one-hour audio segments that are available to download.
