May 23, 2010

David was in a holiday mood - with a brilliant playlist to match.

Hoping everyone has a safe and happy holiday...and for those of us in the states....ours is coming up very shortly, thank goodness.

Thanks to Ralph and London Ontario, Baby for the huge assist in completing the list.

Here are the songs that the BDS missed from the last two hours:

English Beat – Ranking Full Stop
Pansy Division – Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fond Of Each Other
Matthew Barber – Easy To Fall
Stunt Chimps – Claves
Snowy White – Bird Of Paradise
Rick Wakeman – Space Oddity
Long John Baldry – Flying
Inspiral Carpets – This Is How It Feels
Phil Lynott – Solo In Soho
Dee Long – Goodnight Universe

As always, there was something that I couldn’t ID (played between The Nails and Nick Lowe). The singer was difficult to understand but the lyrics start something like:

“There’s a boy who’s soul was all he didn’t understand
Now the same old picture’s hanging till the end”

So if this sounds familiar to anyone...

Happy holidays all!

Thank you both so much - as soon as I receive David's list, I'll put all three together - :-)

PS: LO,B - I'll give those lyrics some thought when I'm at home tonight and can think a little more clearly. Happy Holiday to my Canadian friends!

Sorry for the delay cobbling together a list - it has been a monster of a week at work. Thanks again to Ralph and London Ontario, Baby for the huge assist. xo
