Over the years there have been a number of question and answer songs where one band responds in song to another band's musical question. Anyone have suggestions of a pair of songs that fit this? I seem to recall reading that there was an answer song to Lloyd Cole & the Commotions' - Are You Ready To Be Heartbroken?. Here's a funny one that I thought of, even though it doesn't truly fit the pattern:
Josie Cotton - Johnny, are You Queer?
Jonathan Richman & The Modern Lovers - I'm Straight
