You may have noticed I've started to eliminate all of the 'the's' from band names - that's because it's easier to keep names consistent that way when summarizing things!

"Danny Boy" was done by Dr. Draw. It was important for me to know because it has special meaning.
I believe you are right about concrete Blonde doing "Dancing Barefoot."
Went nuts looking for the title to the "Rhymes with Orange" song. For some reason I thought it was "She's My Flower" but I am not 100%.
Great work, as always. :-)
Thanks for the info - I'll add Dr. Draw to the list. I was trying Dr. Rah and coming up empty :-)
Got a note late last night/early this morning from David saying it was indeed the vocalist from Concrete Blonde singing Dancing Barefoot - I couldn't find a source for that in any Concrete Blonde releases - it could be a solo release of the singer - I'll do a bit more research on that and Rhymes With Orange today.
Found out that it was a solo release by Johnette Napolitano (the singer from Concrete Blonde) that did Dancing Barefoot
Here's a tracklist from the CD that I know David plays Toy Train from by RWO - the CD is called Trapped in the Machine:
1 Toy Train 4:33
2 Trapped in the Machine 4:27
3 Walking on Water 5:03
4 I Believe 4:19
5 She Forgot to Laugh 4:38
6 Time 5:14
7 Manic Madness 4:37
8 The Taking of David 4:52
9 Whore 5:27
10 Won't You Go My Way 4:31
11 Rolling on My Own 5:56
12 The End 12:54
If anyone has this to share (or even a track or two - I'd love to get a copy :-)
One thing that helps with a web search is spelling the name right - they spell it without the 'h' so it's rymes with orange!
Hey - first of all, *thank you* - check your mail :-) Second, I initially tried "Rhymes" and "Rymes" because I was finding the group name spelled both ways on the Internet - still no luck. Now you've got me on a mission to find the CD!
All the best.
Well, I figured the Rymes With Orange track out - the track from Thursday's show was called 'Home House Flower' and is from their CD 'Peel'
