I have to say that soccerfan was a great help. My thanks to him for assisting to fill in some of the gaps.

A few new tunes I discovered that I liked a lot. One was Icehouse, there were a few others. Great show as always.

Thanks for including Dancing in the Moonlight. We really appreciate it... but if I could make one correction; Van Morrison never did Dancing in the Moonlight. However his recording of Moondance has long been confused with our recording of Dancing in the Moonlight.
Thanks and all the best.
King Harvest

I can confirm that King Harvest is tha artist of Dancing In the Moonlight.

Miss Parker, thanks for your words of kindness. I'm always glad to help when I'm not stumped myself, lol.

The Broken Scene song is called "Shampoo Suicide".

I apologize for mis-identifying the King Harvest song. I honestly didn't think it was Van Morrison, but something influenced my decision to ID it that way - just not sure what. At any rate, I'm glad the mystery has been solved.

Thank you, Glen for also giving a title to The Broken Scene's song. David ID'd the group in the chatroom, but I didn't want to bug him for the title...things were busy for him after coming back from his break. :-)

Speaking of breaks....hurry back, Ralph!

Anyone got confirmation on that Skinny Puppy or Front Line Assembly Song that played on the Thursday....been dying to know the name of that song.

After a few attempts to really listen to the lyrics and inputting them into Google, I get an answer that the song is "Mindphaser" by Front Line Assembly.

*Nice* detective work! :-)

Heh, you were right about Front Line Assembly as being one of two possible artists so I have to give you credit for that!

Miss Parker said...

Got to give credit where it's due - I sent a recorded fragment to Ralph and he narrowed it down to the two artists. I'm just "Grasshopper" to the two "Master Pos." ;-)

that would be the one, kudos to you, I would recognize the song anywhere, because it has a beat so reminiscent of New Order.

That song sounds more like Joy Division than New Order. :-)

I would agree with you, but its way too close to Touched by the Hand of God.

Wow, lots of comments on this one. Sorry for not getting to this sooner - the post has been corrected for the King Harvest and FLA tracks ID'd in the comments. Thanks to everyone for their input! :-)
