You may have noticed I've started to eliminate all of the 'the's' from band names - that's because it's easier to keep names consistent that way when summarizing things!

The one stand-out song last night for me was "Violet Light" by Raised By Swans. The song is hauntingly lovely...yet so familiar. I had to dig through my mp3s to figure out why, but I found it. It is very reminiscent of Interpol's "Untitled:"

Love both the songs and again, found out about super home-grown Canadian talent through David's show.

Cheers!

That's a stand-out track for me too everytime David plays it. :-) Just an amazing song - one of the many songs that he plays that I would call beautiful - and I like to think I don't throw that term out there lightly!
